OUR STORY

Lin Thompson and Teresa Wagner longtime friends, opened The Hen House 2 Vintage Chicks in 2022 in an darling historic property in the original Old West downtown community of Kingman, Arizona. 

As residents of this legendary town the heart of Route 66, with it's classic car shows, retro neon signs, and an overall circa 1950's vibe that embraces the city's vibrant past, Lin has been teaching painting classes at the local community college and has also taught her own painting classes since 1974. 

Teresa has been doing local craft shows and festival since 1981 and always knew someday she would love to share her passion for handmade decor in a shop of her own. From painting to sewing, scrapbooking and making our own, original handmade items, both Teresa and Lin are devoted to preserving the history of Kingman and sharing their love for down home decor and folk art with all their friends, family and customers.
